doegx	the dawn album Was this one of the "concepts" that never happened? I found a boot of it and if it is WOW that would be one helluva album...oh and btw on endorphinmachine when he screams in the middle...does he hock and spit?

Yep. Only one song was released for it. Welcome 2 The Dawn was a B-Side to The Holy River limited release/promo cassette. The packaging stated "From the 4th coming release 'The Dawn'" or something to that effect.

If prince.org were to be made idiot proof, someone would just invent a better idiot.

The Dawn bootleg is a (very good) fan mix. There was a project called 'the Dawn' (actually several - but specifically this one) - the bootleg/fan mix doesn't represent any tracklist from the 'real' The Dawn, but since it was melted down and became Come and The Gold Experience, it's safe to say many of the songs on the fan mix would actually have been on the Dawn.

Just to clarify so people don't go quoting the tracklist to the fan mix as the tracklist to the actual project. nod
