India Arie's Bass Player & Prince

I grew up with Khari Simmons who plays bass for India Arie. This was in Princeton, NJ. He's the person who got me in2 Prince. In fact, when we were 13-15 years old, during the late 80's, he was the 1st person to hook me up w/ Prince bootlegs. That time they were on cassette. That was the 1st time I also heard Crystal Ball, through Khari.

I also remember him telling me how he had met Sheila E and Atlanta Bliss. We were still teens at the time.

I'm not sure, did India Arie play at one of the celebrations? I do know that one of her videos was posted in the cyberclips section at the NPGMC.
