I love Prince's version of "Just My Imagination" in concert. Do you think he ever recorded it as a studio version? If he did, I would love to hear it.

That guitar solo is killer.

That solo sends chills down my spine!! A lot of his guitar solos do that to me. Another one that really gets me going is the live guitar solo he plays on "Shhh" from "The Beautiful Experience".

There are other version : in Hamburg Grosse Freheit, NYC Roseland Club and San Francisco Aftershow.
Each are quite similar, the best ones remain Small Club and Camden Palace.
It was a song from the '88 aftershow set-list.

I don't remenber it played at any other time. Does anyone knows? Definitly no Studio recording from P.

there's another version from the 88 LA aftershow... it's similar to the Small Club version, but played at almost 1/2 as fast... it's a really awesome version...

the quality of the show is ass tho.
