Has anyone else heard a Batman outtake called "SEX"? It starts off with this Native American sound, then this creepy Bohemian guitar shit, then some kind of weird ass Spongebob-type music. GlamSlamKid...The resident clown on Prince.orgy

In this case, as stated above, the song is an official release from 15 years ago, but even if it was unreleased, you can bet your sweet fanny that if you downloaded it from the net, or got it from a bootleg, then thousands upon thousands of other people will have it to. Although Prince has done a song called Sex, the song you describe doesn't sound that song to me. You would be able to recognise it because Prince says 'sex' a lot in it. Also I can't say it has a Native American sound or Bohemian guitar - are there any lyrics? They are usually a giveaway. Mp3 files, especially from p2p servers, are often mis-labelled. | |

This hasn't been mentioned before, but my only recollection of another Prince song that might have carried the tentative title of "Sex" was through an article in a British publication called Number One, a weekly competitor of Smash Hits.

Yeah, apart from the released b-side, there's a demo-version, and it's also on a few rehearsals from the nude tour in japan... maybe that's where glamslamkid got the "weird intro" from? Apart from that the song was later also give by Prince to a dutch group called "Lois Lane" who rerecorded it for their album "Precious". That album has also got the Prince track "qualified" on it. That's what I know. | |

I think there is also a fake track circulating on the filesharing programs that is titled "Sex". Think I might have even downloaded that one accidentally back in the day.

But also in the first part of the song, you hear the xylophone-type instrument playing like in the beginning of Batdance, and in the second verse, i think, they yell out "SO BE WILD!!" which also sounds Prince-ish to me. I really can't make out the lyrics though..But in the second part they say something like "When summer(or someone..)gets to me, and sets my soul on fire, my body is an ocean.." then after that, idk, but they keep yelling out "SEX!!" until the third part and then they're singing "AWEEMAWAY" you, "in the jungle, the might y jungle the lion sleeps tonight.." but the don't say that.
