the other 3 promos were in my list though , but I'll make it clear the Thieves In The Temple video is a promo for the extended version and add your clarifications to my original post so that newbies will know what "rough cuts" etc refer to. I've just checked my Nothing Compares 2 U promo , I mis-remembered it lol , it is live footage from the D & P tour , though its mixed with old footage from Prince videos and some new footage of Rosie (alone) and Prince (alone) that I can't recall seeing anywhere else really :S , bit of everything in that video really. Prior to Prince securing a record contract, Prince's early musical adventures resulted in him meeting a musician, Pepe Willie, who had moved to Minneapolis from New York and married Prince's cousin. Pepe Willie offered Prince opportunities to perform on a number of studio recordings with his group, 94 East, dating back to 1975. In 1986, Pepe Willie released some of these recordings, originally under the title, 9'4 East: Minneapolis Genius - The Historic 1977 Recordings'. There are undoubtedly other promos hes made that have yet to see release , e.g the "A Million Days" promo was reportedly shot last year ( someone posted a photo of it didnt they on here? )
Yes, A Million Days exists and a picture has been posted (originating from the director's website. It has also been said (by reputable sources - i.e. not pie in the sky) that a video was shot (at PP) for almost every song released from 1994-1996 (Come, TGE, Emancipation, C&D etc) and Prince was originally going to release a video companion to Crystal Ball with videos to (some/all?) the songs on there, although it's unknown if he ever recorded any of them). Thanx!! Is there somewhere that a person can get a complete compilation of all or atleaset a large number of P videos. That would be great if something like that is available ?Cause me and u could have been a work of art
