was this Prince, lead singer of Switch?

some1 once told me that Prince was the lead singer in a group called Switch in the early '80's. the song
"I call ur name", is their any1 that remembers this song? 1 verse was....."when i'm in a lonely mood and i just cant b with u, i try everthing 2 ocupy my mind, but their is no substitute". another verse..... "i dont worry what the people say, in my life 2day, although they n say ur not tha 1 for me, i luv u anyway, their intentions might b kool, if what they say was tru, but theres partz of u, that they will never see, so they dont even know u"..."sometimes when i get lonely, i call ur name, when i feel tha need 4 luv, i think of u, and it takes away the pain".
can any1 tell me if this was Prince? the group was called Switch.never heard anything else from them, cant find anything about them now, anywho, it sounded like him, and it's a beautiful song.
may meekness, and peace follow u where ever u may go...

NO. Switch sounds like Debarge, but Switch has no association w/Prince.
Haters travel in packs and they are offended or threatened by klhk, haters express intense hostility toward the subject of hate. Haters are annoyed and roll thier eyes when klhk is paid a compliment. ask yourself, are u a hater?

and then the dumpster needs to be dropped off of a building into a huge inferno.

did you guys know that Prince is really Dwayne on "What's Happening"?

It was a "side job" while he was waiting for his music career to take off.

No joke.
