There is indeed a Gett Off maxi audio CD, and it is awesome. Violet The Organ Grinder does it for me. For me, it's a toss up between the Gett Off maxi, and the Japanese Scandalous Sex Suite, which is a combination of both the US SSS and the Partyman remixes with Feel U Up. Oh f. it, the Japanese SSS is his best maxi single by a long shot. How can you beat something that has the guitar from Rapture, When 2 R In Love, Sex, the Purple Party Mix and Feel U Up? Life it ain't real funky unless you got that orgPop.

I got maxi singles that r on vinyl so I don't know.....mI think maxi singles have more mixes/tracks then 12".....12" only usually have a couple of tracks only! "And it echoes down the mountainside

A maxi-single is the same as a 12" single. It doesn't have the comprise of remixes. It can be made up of extended versions or full-length versions.

I quite liked the My Name Is Prince maxi singles. How many were there? I seem to remember there being (at least) two different versions - a German one (I think) with 5 tracks, and another one. Anyone? U been bamboozled, hoodwinked, took. | |

A maxi-single as far as this thread is concerned is one of those 30 or so minute CD singles, with several tracks. That includes:

It made the album charts in the UK (though the video's great too). That comes a close second just cos of Violet the Organ Grinder.
