Prince's involvement in 1989's Batman movie led to a short affair with actress Kim Basinger, which apparently ended with her being whisked away from Prince's house by her concerned brother, who was worried about "the weird sexual hold " (The Sun,1995) Prince had over his sister. After dating Kim Prince allegedly stated he'd "never date a blonde" again.
As for Kim's brother whisking her out of Minneapolis, the account/s I've read claim she was getting a bit bonkers and wouldn't leave Prince alone after he'd tried to end the relationship, and that she actually wanted them to get married, and that Prince himself was the one who phoned Kim's brother and asked him to come get her. Allegedly Kim was "whisked away" out of Minnesota so quickly that, when she departed, she left her car sitting in Paisley Park's parking lot and Prince had it towed away within 24 hours. | |
