If you look back in Aaliyah's career- sunglasses, riding motorcycles, her attitude was much like Prince's in the Purple Rain Era, if you ask me. Aaliyah did play guitar. while i dont no how many (if any) instruments they play, i think 2 artist that r very prince-esque r stevie nicks and nikka costa!! stevie nicks 4 her songwritting ablities and nikka cuz she's so funky!! (i dont think we've met, like a feather!!) nikka sounds like a cross b tween prince and lenny kravitz (not a bad mix, really)

But Sheila was like Prince because she was trying to be like Prince. She was a protege. She learned all that stuff from him. It wasn't natural. Don't get me wrong, it still worked, but it was not natural.
