If you could delete one Prince work from history and your mind what would it be? I have to say Grafiiti Bridge is about this worst thing he as done , that movie is unwatchable. My opinion.

The Flow. I've wasted at least thirty seconds of my life on that track. Join the Peace Industry!

I know this isn't quite what you asked but I would delete Tony M. from the Prince universe. Of course, then Prince would have just worked with another sub-standard rapper, but Tony M. did ruin a lot of good songs.

Xpectation. And I'd also like my $7.77 returned. It would be a nice surprise, being that the disc would be deleted from my mind, I'd think I just found $7.77 . The luck of it, and the number itself, would prolly lead me to believe that indeed there is a God, and I'd immediately begin knocking on doors and giving out copies of The Watchtower. The Rainbow Children still ranks as the largest disappointment in my Prince fandom. I don't want to make you feel stupid, so please don't mess with me.

Cream. There a are worse songs, but he still plays this steaming pile every now and again, so it's hard to avoid.

Why?? What's so bad about it? The beginning, the middle, and the ending. Other than that it was great. I don't want to make you feel stupid, so please don't mess with me.

Not because its bad, but it would be so interesting to see which path his career would have taken without the big commercial break. SOTT wasn’t it a masterpiece? It came after Purple Rain

But really, I wouldn't want to be rid of the bad songs. We need the crud to give us something to compare the masterpieces to. While i don't particularly listen to this song. I found his acoustic rendition of it really good. You'll never know a girl called Nikki and you'll never find Erotic City

I Would Not Delete Nothing,In Order For 1 To Grow,1 Must Try.I Think People Want Prince To Make Music Just For Them,Just Like Warner Brothers,But The Man Is Doing It They Way He Wants,Just Listen,He Has So Much To Offer,I Understand Why He Had Slave On His Face,Don't You??

Kamasutra...
MJ was a brilliant singer/dancer...best of all time, however, that's all he was. Let's not compare him to Prince, best musician of all time, but rather, compare him to someone like Sammy Davis Jr (who I don't hear anyone calling a musical genius).

It came after Purple Rain SOTT was a masterpiece in some eyes (including mine). But it sold one tenth of Purple Rain. Would P have made SOTT if he had not reached the top already? I don't think so. .

It came after Purple Rain Purple Rain, I agree. Tho I'd miss the whole time deeply. I think most people would view Prince's whole career with a little more respect if they'd quit trying to compare everything to all the hype of Purple Rain. Sign O' The Times was not a big commercial hit -- not even close to Purple Rain or even 1999. In Europe, Lovesexy was as big a success as Purple Rain, if not bigger. That would've been cool here in the States -- to have one of his more experimental-conceptual albums such Lovesexy or The Rainbow Children be the climax of his career, selling millions of copies each -- one of the top 10 best-selling albums of all time! Could you imagine? No matter tho -- as long as we got the songs, and we do.
