Paisley Park Celebration 2001 Footage

Three years later gathering dust in the archives, What is Kevin Smith going to do (or what did he do) with the Rainbow Children Celebration week discussions at Paisley Park that he spent all week filming? Any plans? Cameras inside the walls of the legendary Park sounds interesting.

he is going 2 make the sequel 2 clerks cuz prince has the footage in the vaults.

btw mallrats was filmed at the eden prairie mall just along from paisley park

and checkout an evening with kevin smith dvd 4 a 15 minute talk about the rainbow children footage he shot

If you watched the Kevin Smith college tour DVD he said that he gave all the footage to Prince and it was edited by others so Kevin wouldn't even have the film. Some of the footage showed up on the Best Buy instore promos for TRC.

But hearing Prince talk about being a JW for 5 hours doesn't interest me much.

Even if you don't want to hear the JW stuff for 5 hours, it was very intersting to see Prince so down to earth and comfortable. I was in one of the "sessions" that lasted over three hours, and Prince was really approachable, he was bouncing all over the room, talking to everyone.

I don't think I'll ever forget that.
