Vanity on Friday the 13th The Series

Fridayseries3.jpg

Well been watching Friday the 13th The series (Syndicated TV show from 1987-1990 shot in Canada) and just saw the episode with Vanity in it (Season 2 Episode 20 "The Secret Agenda of Mesmur's Bauble"). Not the best episode of te series but it's cool that Vanity was in it. She basicaly played herself, a pop singer named Angelica. She sang the song "Undress" several times in the episode. For TV the sex scenes were pretty graphic. The record store in the episode did show the Purple Rain poster on the door. Anybody else saw this episode??? Remembers it??

Cool find. ✌️Never saw the series, but had the solo album with that song. Where can you see the series?

"Undress" isn't on any Vanity album. As far as I know it was only on the Action Jackson soundtrack.

Nice! What's the name of that song Vanity is singing in the beginning? It's a slow, sexy, jazzy song.

That was a show I loved to watch. I liked that old Mercedes they had.

Nice watch!

So much of a C-movie that it is almost art (-:

But it took me back to the late 80's all the way... And of course it was great to see Vanity!

I remember watching that series, but don't remember that episode in particular. The only episode I remember is where the female lead goes back in time and is Hitler's nanny, but can't kill him as a baby. eek

The show was syndicated here in Detroit on one of our 2nd-tier stations.
