Um, what I don't understand is what a hairdresser can write about Prince, other than styling his hair, and how that would could possibly turn into a whole book on him? I don't know, maybe some Prince fans might find that interesting, but I don't. I mean, unless Prince poured out his inner most secrets and revealed stuff to her that we don't already know of, I just don't have any interest for it.

She lost me at the hair and comb auction, and also with using Steve Parke's photo. Now hearing about the GoFundMe page....well, it's just ridiculous.

The book would be interesting if it is mainly about how and why she styled his hair in various ways througout the years. However, as some have posted here, I don't see him confessing his deepest and darkest secrets to her while sitting in the styling chair. I would imagine that he hated taking up that time for his hair when he could have been recording or playing, so I would think her (and his) focus would have been to get him in and out as quickly as possible.

I don't do social media like Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, etc, so I don't understand stuff like "Go Fund Me"...seems to me, they give money to others for silly things sometimes, and like many use it for their own personal greed, and just because they want some money! I mean, I know that it can be used for the good of helping those that really do need help, but there are a lot of people out there that are scammers and liars, so how do you know who's being real and truthful, and really need your help and money, and who is just scamming you? I just don't get it!

I mean, I know that it can be used for the good of helping those that really do need help, but there are a lot of people out there that are scammers and liars, so how do you know who's being real and truthful, and really need your help and money, and who is just scamming you? I just don't get it!

There have been many scams (aka using the site under false pretenses in order to take the donated money for personal gain and not for the reason specified on the site) uncovered by people setting up pages on the GoFundMe site. The original intent of the site was for those who truly needed help with raising money for a good cause to reach out to family, friends and the public for assistance.

For example, I had a friend who was tragically hit by a car while on a trip to San Fransisco, and he suffered a severe brain injury. His Mother could not afford to fly him back to the East coast to be with her and to get him treatment, so his family set up a GoFundMe page. Through those donations she was able to pay for his transport back home.

As in just about everything these days that begins as a sincere and charitable idea there are those who will abuse the concept to satisfy their own greed. So, now there are GoFundMe pages for all types of reasons - legitmate or not.

When black people trust U with their hair. The flood gates open up to EVERYTHING!. Kim wasn't a fan which is why Prince liked Kim. Plus she was NO NONSENSE like me. They also had a spiritual connection.

I'm glad that your friend and his mother got the funds needed through GoFundMe, because that's what I think it was really intended for, but it's just a shame now that some try and abuse it for scams, due to greed.
