It's a brilliant song, seemingly heavily inspired by her relationship with Prince. Her new album is shaping to be really good.

Love the song. When the album coming?

Just an FYI this track will not be on the album along with a few other singles she released .

Oh okay. I didn't see the album listed on Spotify when I checked last night after noticing that Judith has their logo on the photo of what I assume is the album cover. I'm sure that the album will be great regardless. Thanks for the info!

I just listened on YT. Wow.

I have to admit, I've seen Judith a couple times before, once at an October Tribute aftershow in Minnie and one at BB Kings in NYC and I wasn't super into it either time. To each his/her own. But if this is what she's putting out, I need to hear more.

Four of us are seeing her at Darryl's Place in Pawling, NY this Sunday. I hope she plays this song!!
And the MUSIC continues...forever...

Saw Judith on Sunday. I stand happily corrected. Holy crap, she was great. In that small venue, she about blew the roof off the place. Friends and I all agreed that she's really grown as a performer in the past two years. She's much more comfortable and powerful up front leading a band than she used to be. Her band includes both her mom on keyboards and dad on bass, both excellent, as were all the other members. They were *tight.* I couldn't help but smile at her hand signals to the band. Wonder where she learned those?? lol I think P would be proud.

She is no joke.

She is growing by leaps and bounds musically.

She had an obligation to perform for a benefit show at The Beverly Hills Hotel the day after the plane incident and said that Prince told her to go.

We'll decide to leave it unlocked. This time. All music from Judith Hill next time post in the thread about her current music releases

http://prince.org/msg/5/454535

Individual Threads concerning an album will remain seperate from a general 'announcement' thread. Discussion of the album will specifically talk about details of the process, the music, musicians/instrumentation, writing process, touring, videos, singles, outtakes/one off song releases, album artwork etc
