? Wow, your imagination is running wild. Ziggy is her dog that she found starving and very sick. She helped that dog and fell in love with him and got him. It has nothing to do with her & Princes dog who is long gone. Mayte runs an animal shelter.

let Mayte grow n live Forcing a connection to Prince? She was married to the guy and with him longer than any other. She gave birth to his son. She was the inspiration for most of his music for a decade or more and he was still singing about her a few years before he transitioned. She was the only female he used in over 40 music videos, that we know of. Also, Morocco is a place they frequented while they were married. Very dear destination to them both, apparently. Hence, the reason he went back there to film the “Te Amo Corazon” music video. With that being said, she doesn’t need to force a connection to him. She embodies his essence. It’s the very reason people, haters and lovers alike, are so intrigued by her. If she’s single, it’s because she wants to be single and there’s nothing wrong with it. Take your own advice and let Mayte live her life the way she wants to. She’s a grown a** woman living by her own rules. | |

I thought that "Te Amo Corazon" was probably about Mayte but I didn't realize their connection with Morocco may have been why he filmed the video there. Interesting. I agree that as his first wife and mother of his only child,she doesn't have to force a connection to Prince. It just is. It will always be there. I also think that she seems to be doing fine on her own and seems very happy and at peace. | |
