But I can go here and claim: "Well my friend talked to XY and here's how it went." Everybody can claim this stuff......I'll doubt it until there's real evidence that this happened as stated here....

^^And am I the only one who thinks it's strange that this thread pops up right after people been asking about a book about Denise in another thread? As if to say: "Oh look, she was a bitch, are you sure you want to read about her?"

Maybe I'm just paranoid, but 1. I feel like she's not having much fans over here anyway and 2. I've only seen a few threads about Vanity and they got locked for some reasons.....

Wow. I saw a video clip of Denise where she said something similar about Prince so I think it may be possible that she said those things. I remember Denise posting that photo on her IG and I wondered what she was trying to convey with it. I feel Denise was genuinely concerned for Prince and wanted to help him. I think that he had made an effort to change from his earlier days and I appreciated and admired him for that. I recently read an article from The Herald Sun about his Piano & Microphone shows in Australia and it mentioned that he was at a club while over there and the DJ played "Head" and Prince sent someone over to tell them to turn it off. They said that they told them that Prince didn't want to hear any songs of his with cursing or blasphemy.I think I remember the woman who posted this as being on Dr Funkenberry's Spreecasts a few times when he would talk with a few of the viewers. She struck me as being a hard core Prince fan.

Okay, I read what she wrote on Twitter, what I don't get is, why would Denise lose her shit without any real reason? Angelique only posts the snippets where Denise screamed at her, but I'd like to know the whole story to this. I still take it with a grain of salt.

And she says she didn't want to portray her in a bad light, but people who read this, maybe people who don't know her history with prince, will see her as crazy person. And this is not fair.

But she was still in his life later on.

Some people say she had mental issues and that she was somewhat fanatic in her missionary work. She did tell Prince she feared for his spirit (before he became JH) and she even went on friends' FB pages to lecture them and make them convert.

What nasty slanderous crap to post on Prince.org on the basis of some whack job Twitter friend who seems like she has a few issues with stability of her own. This whole tirade seems maliciously done in an attempt to disparage Denise's name and create attention for herself in the process. After all these years, this is when she decides to call out Denise to the public and throw away her book? Six years later, when she's dead and gone? I guess any whack whack can pull stories out of their behind and say whatever the hell they want now. Very sad.

I was FB friends with Evangelist Matthews until the very end for YEARS, and she NEVER disparaged Prince ever. Yes, they had a falling out, yes, back in the day she admittingly said he was dated more than one woman at a time, but other than that she said that he had FOUND Jesus and they were friends. I was FB friends with Denise too and had many interactions and she was night and day.

She was never night and day with me, she was extremely consistent. I got her, I understood her walk in Christ and repsected it. I even awkwardly mentioned stuff about kidney health with her in pm's and she was always graceful. I never had any head butting with her, I know some who did, and it was always on doctrine or religious beliefs, she was like any other evangelist serious about their relationship with God.
