Lisa is fantastic, and Wendy really is too. Wendy gets a lot of flack, because she is outspoken and likes to talk. They are a great balance for each other, because Lisa is just naturally more quiet and introspective. If Wendy didn't have smart and interesting things to say I agree she would be annoying, but I always enjoy listening to her, and/or reading her interviews. She is candid, smart, and passionate about music and telling her stories. I would love to see a book from W&L too smile

Yeah I agree Wendy do get a lot of flack because she is outspoken. So is Susannah LOL. Man they both curse like storms on their social media accounts and interviews LOL but I don't mind that makes them edgy. They both are California hippie liberals and as a person of color myself, they are good allies to social issues that I care about.

Lisa I think she somewhat opens up more over the last decade since I am one of her friends on her social media Facebook page. I always thought she kind of goofy and cryptic but in a good way. She brings the humor side and quirky side. She also tends to open up more during recent interviews but you are right Wendy is always going to be the outspoken one.

But I like both of them.

Yes, they are all good girls - smart, funny, edgy, and talented. No doubt why Prince connected with them back in the day. Interestingly, I've gone back and watched some of the interviews W&L did in Europe when they were touring for Eroica in the late 80's, and Lisa did sometimes more, or equal amounts of talking in those. I guess it depends on the situation. I loved their stint on the "what's in my bag" series from Aomeba record store - very funny! Lisa is such a music nerd, but in a good way smile
