Oui Can Luv is such a beautiful album! I'm glad that Prince shared it on Tidal and we got a chance to hear it. Beautiful photos in the video too. Thanks for sharing

It made me cry. I had forgotten some of the playful moments between Prince and Andy on the world stage. It makes you wonder why that part of their relationship ended so abruptly. I think she, with her large, close-knit family, was his last, best hope for some semblance of normalcy.

It is nice to see photos of him looking so happy and I like to remember him that way. Whatever occurred between them did happen very abruptly and things appeared to be going well until spring of 2013.Elrick Williams, the head of the Africa Channel at the time wrote in an article that Prince had him fly to PP to pitch his idea for Andy to have her own show on the network. He said that when he arrived,Andy was rehearsing her band and Prince was singing along.I would guess that was probably in early 2013 when that took place.

Viewing this with fresh eyes, and listening to Oui Can Luv cold, I am struck by the similarity of the themes of Tracy Chapman's "Fast Car" and Andy Allo's "Into the Wild." They are both about leaving a situation that is not good and making a break for freedom. I wish she had been able to pry Prince away from Paisley Park and his incessant work for a time. That might have been just what he needed.

He did look very happy...and healthy. He also looked virile...and he had "meat on his bones," as they say.

I believe Into The Wild was most likely about them and Andy alluded to that.I also noticed during her last MMs that she had a wall hanging with the title of the song. They were visiting her hometown Sacramento a bit in 2011 and 12 so they at least appeared to enjoy some normalcy at times during their relationship.Something I'm sure that Prince appreciated.

I remember that! There’s a video in which a local Sac-town news station talked about Prince coming into the Tower Café for lunch with his companion. They name dropped Andy.

I think it is nice that Prince experienced a bit of normalcy. A regular life. Sometimes, I like to think that’s why I love their collaborations/relationship so much. Prince had many women, I know, but with Andy he seemed more stripped down. Normal. Playful. Genuinely happy in his later years. Which is why I’m so curious as to why that ended so sudden. But appeared that he was trying to reach out to her again. I have many questions!

I agree. It is puzzling why it ended so suddenly, especially since she appeared to be so happy in the photos that he took of her while at his home in Turks and Caicos during the holidays in 2012/13. Something seemed to go awry after their trip to NYC for Prince and 3rd Eye Girl's appearance on Jimmy Fallon in March. He did seem to be reaching out to her in 2015 with his tweets and the release of OCL and the party at PP.From what Andy said in the documentary about speaking with him concerning the P&M shows at PP and that she was sad that she didn't get to see that concert,I wonder if he may have invited her and she didn't go.

You guys are welcome! I read that they did get the custard French toast. Also, later on they were seen leaving Corti Brothers. Prince bought a bottle of wine.

It's nice that they must have felt comfortable enough in Sac to be out and about.Andy did some interviews while there and I remember she mentioned that they went to see a movie too but they left because she was scared.

That's right. I remember she said she was covering her eyes and they decided to just go.

I thought so too! They also went record shopping. I'm surprised they were able to get away without any photos of them together.

That is hard to believe. It wouldn't surprise me if one day a photo or two were to appear.

Yes,it's surprising that the only photos that exist of them out together are the ones taken while in Montréal,London and at the Dakota.
