Morris Hayes interview with CJ

http://www.startribune.co...480052643/

Its with CJ, who I find annoying (and fake with laughing at Morris' every word) but certainly she has mellowed (even though there is still subtle shade here and there directed at P.) CJ shares a history with them and what better way for Morris to clear the air but to acknowledge that yes, prince had a not-so-nice side, but he also had other sides that maybe she wasn't privy to.

Even though Morris seems mellow, he has a rowdy and loud side that I noticed. Imagine if Prince had let all those piss-and-vinegar young macho dudes in the NPG (with talent and a degree of ego) not know who is boss..so I can see why he thought he had to be tough. Sometimes, he was probably a bit too mean, but we all make mistakes. A little pretty man like him had a lot to prove even to newbies (even to young aspiring musicians who admired him...Those who admire you often start to think they will be the next you after they get used to you..LOL) Morris is humble about himself as a musician however and learned how to keep his priorities in tact (it seems) . I will say that I am still a bit disheartened that they hired a fill-in in the lead singer capacity and I still don't know what to think about Kirk's involvement. God, there is so much we dont know about people's intentions. But judging soley by this interview (alone), he seems geniune.

I watched it and enjoyed it, even the five sides of Prince that he named. Morris comes off as very genuine and someone I'd like to be around so that makes him a hit with me. Dude's got integrity.

I am not at all disheartened that Mackenzie Green has filled in for the lead singer role. As a matter of fact, I think he blends right in with NPG, has a great voice and rather than trying to be a Prince clone, adds his own touches to his performances. He was a very good choice imo. Kirk's spot in NPG doesn't phase me in the slightest but I don't hold him responsible for Prince's death. If there was anything they could have charged him with, I seriously doubt he'd be traveling freely outside the US like he has been.

I don't know what Kirk knows or doesn't know or is guilty or innocent of. But he does seem a little shady.

I am not sure he can't play overseas. Maybe they can extradit him .

However, It is hard to charge enablers unless you prove it. Plus, like someone else stated, if the prosecutors are trying to get the big fish, they don't want to arrest the bait. Kirk will claim up if he is arrested for the lesser offense of giving Prince his perscription drugs.

I'm offended that Morris would let this women CJ interview him, when he knew Prince couldn't stand her. disbelief

But I still like Morris he's very easy going and could take on anyone like this winch.

Prince didn't hate anyone. But he certainly expected respect from those he interacted with, and CJ seemed to be short on that for some reason. Frankly, she owes her career to him in some ways. While she would still be a writer for the paper or whatever, no one would know or care who da fuq she was had it not been for their interactions, and him subsequently calling her out.

To me she made it out better than most having a WHOLE song written and named after her by Prince.
