She left for Europe to do something else. The camp was breaking up, Sheila E & Prince parted because he wanted her to do a 4th album she didn't want to leave the band as drummer she disagreed with the musical direction and felt the music had no melody and such like music before, Boni Boyer had enough and left for Australia. Cat left for Europe had some projects happening, some things fell through, she said Prince was trying to get her to fire someone and she didn't like the vibe of it all, Grafffiti Bridge was supposed to be originally Prince Madonna Cat Sheila E and the Lovesexy band w/Mavis Staple (pre the Time joining)... | |

CAT WORKED WITH TIM SIMENON OF BRITISH GROUP BOMB THE BASS BUT THE PROJECT NEVER REALLY TOOK OFF. SHE HAS BEEN PRETTY VOCAL ON FACEBOOK AND OTHER SOCIAL MEDIA FOR THE PAST TWO YEARS. SHE WANTED TO DO A Q&A HERE ON THE ORG BUT SOMEHOW IT DIDN´T WORK OUT. SOME FOLKS HERE DON´T LIKE CAT BECAUSE SOMETIMES SHE IS A BIT STRANGE THEY SAY BUT HEY SHE IS CAT GLOVER SHE WAS IN SIGN OF THE TIMES AND LOVESEXY AND SHE WAS PROBABLY THE BEST DANCER PRINCE EVER HAD. In early 1989,after leaving the Prince camp,Cat began working on a solo album called I Am Energy.There was no Prince involvement on this project.A single,"Cat Woman",was released but the album never came out. | |
