Since I might well be the only person in this thread who has actually met and spent considerable time with Mani, I'll weigh in : She's amazing and I totally see why Prince fell for her. She's truly, truly wonderful. She's beautiful, intelligent, and kind.

She does amazing work with her charity and it's clear within minutes of meeting her that that is her absolute passion in life.

I'll say this much : if Vanity and Mayte were Prince's counterparts for his visual, icon, rockstar, sex god side, Susannah was his counterpart for his poetic, artistic side, and Sheila was his counterpart for his musician side...........................then Mani was 100% his counterpart for the Prince who cared about social issues, who gave back to his community, who helped people in need. The guy who wrote "Sign O' The Times", "Dear Mr Man", "Cinnamon Girl", etc.
