Hmmm, maybe Damaris and Judith? confused

i hear ya, but i don't think of Damaris as afro centric. I think natural hair/afro when i think afro centric, but of course it doesn't have to be based on hair or style it could be point of view. but

her words hipster and jazzy made be conclude style was the leading factor.

.

Yea, I don't know who that could be? I wouldn't describe Andy as being Afro-centric....am I wrong?

.

Now, someone like Erykah Badu (love her) would be considered as such, but I don't think Princey dated her. lol

Agreed, I don’t consider Andy AfroC in the traditional sense like Eryka or
Lauren Hill.
I guess maybe that is where the jazzy comes in. I think she is
60/35/5. Hipster/jazzy/Afrocentric. IMO. Sweet girl nonetheless.
I don’t think P wanted to really handle a truly Afrocentric woman.
I do think if he had let himself be tamed by a strong spirited women( not strictly Afrocentric either) that we would
Have heard music from another dimensions. I don’t think our ears would have been able to handle it. Imo.

I haven't read everything she has said before or after, I was mostly talking about a few recent things I read her saying and interpreted them as her being protective. I did hear about them not speaking for quite a few years though and there was some tension, so I am not surprised she has said some not so nice things too. His untimely death has certainly brought out the best and worst of some of these people that's for sure. Could be alot of grief and feeling guilty of not being around in his final months, however he appeared to choose whom he wanted to surround himself with though.

Yeah! Like I said she speaks her mind but is harmless. Needs to calm down...and take care of herself.

.

I'm concerned for her well-being. She's going through a tough time since Prince died, and it's easy to get caught up in all the drama that's been going on. I wish her well.

I don’t like the way P chose to entangle his love, I think he left broken spirits in his wake. However complicit the women might have been, I think wielding that or casting that kind of hopeful glow on these ladies was unfair to the well being of their spirit. I’m sure it was wonderful and beautiful but some drugs you just can’t do or offer. I like all the ladies, truly, but seems we always circle around mental disconnects that a lot of them share( perhaps not all of them). I wish all of them the best.

Prince did talk to her after Denises funeral. That is when he was reaching out to a lot of people.
She said they talked about what happened. But I think the amount of time and the results have set in a place of bitterness. And Bitterness is hard to root out. So it is easier sometimes to lash out at the living.

Again all the fighting comes from the same era of PRINCE, which just so happens to be the era he had the most success. At this point I take what they say with a grain of salt, Prince is dead, gone, case closed. We are never going to his secrets, and the things he kept personal. I don’t care how tight Prince and Apollonia were or how tight she thinks they were, end of day I am sure he shared almost nothing with her that was deep hidden within. That era of Prince is where all the BS and hate is coming from, I don’t see hate coming from Morris Hayes who was probably with him the most creatively, I don’t hear fights between Andy Allo and Judith Hill and those two were probably in a way involved with him more than music, so you’d expect some petty BS but I don’t hear it from them. Instead it’s the same culprits.

Tyka said she had 2 years to prepare for it because of a conversation she and Prince had. Prince told her that he had done everything he came to do. https://www.youtube.com/w...R7DfgrdoqY

I only wish her well, I know she's been hurting and there is a lot of bitterness. But that drama is not just going on - she had and has a huge part in keeping it going. Attacking and hurting many people who had and have nothing to do with it.

Yeah that. And sometimes I think she doesn't even want friendship and kindness but to keep walking that path of bitterness. She should and could have cleared things with him, even writing letters to him now might help (I did it too). Holding this grudge is not healthy and it effects your spirit and the way you relate to others. I wish her healing.

Perhaps we need to afford her more time for healing. Think about the length of time she was his lover( 10yrs?) it was longer than his marriages. They seem to be buddies as well. And her healing now has to be done postmortem. Her healing isn’t

True, but they were not around at the beginning and during is heyday like Jill and the others were, and whatever relationships they may have had with him, apparently were not as deep as Jill's and some of the others during that era, that is why I feel like they have such a strong protectiveness over him because they have known him much longer.

True, but they were not around at the beginning and during is heyday like Jill and the others were, and whatever relationships they may have had with him, apparently were not as deep as Jill's and some of the others during that era, that is why I feel like they have such a strong protectiveness over him because they have known him much longer. Anyways, it turns messy real quick, that's for sure lol!

True.I don't think think they feel the strong sense of loyalty that the earlier ladies do.They also don't get involved with any of the drama like some of his other more recent lady friends have.I don't think Judith and Andy know each other but they have mutual friends and seem to be respectful.

It's funny that this is coming from the Queen of speculations.

And I NEVER cease to be amazed at how much judgement a relative newbie continually throws at laura or anyone who says anything against m1. Who do you think you are little boy?

Welcome to "the org", Mumio…they can have you, but I'll have your love in the end nod

Mumio, newbies are welcome on this site and are allowed to share their opinion.
This is my normal life. These marital standards cannot be recreated with money.
