Morris Day's appearance on 227 (a sitcom with Marla Gibbs, Hal Williams, Jackee, Regina King) airs on OWN today at 4:30pm ET for those who want to watch some of his other acting ventures.

227 was a great show. I was an avid watcher. I also went to a taping in 1990, and met Luther, Lou Gossett Jr (his then-wife was on the show as a guest), Marla, and most of the cast.

In this episode, titled "The Prince" (S4E13), is described as, "Rose's blind date turns out to be the prince of an island kingdom who intends to marry Brenda".

It's a cute episode. OWN is FiOS 645. Not sure on other providers.

i saw that today too everytime i see that epiode i be waiting on morris to do the bird

Never understood why Morris never became a top comedic actor? He has great comedic timing and the camera loves him.
