It is called being a work spouse or a close friend. LIke I said before she is not conducting herself as a widow. There is also nothing in that post that is mean spirted or vile.

What you should be paying attention to is her comments about things playing out in the manner he predicted. Did Prince have a crystal ball to know he was going to die or was he sick back in 2014? He was also Mayte's and Mani's and he married them both, they shared another love with him and they also have the same right to feel like they do. And as far as I'm concerned, Mayte didn't do anything else beside the book. And she never said she feels like a widow, she stated that it feels like he's still with her

She must of had the worst lawyer on the earth on Prince had dirt on her. Any lawyer would have taken her case for free and she could have cleaned him out. ( I actually stumbled across so info that he might of had some dirt on her)

When you are in a divorce you protect your assets in Prince's case that would be millions in royalties and publishing. Their child passed on Mayte would not have been in need of settlement that included child support but she could have received more if she simply found a decent lawyer.

Also if she had no publishing rights she would not have been entitled to anything having to do with his music being in a band does not mean a paycheck for life. To be fair many of his associates seem to think the same thing.

Actually, her lawyer wanted her to grab for more, but she refused, she just wanted to get over it. And I also think, if she did sue him for more money, you'd be the first person to judge her for that because you are always looking for a chance to beat her down.
