Even if they sold this record, who's making money? All the artists on there, plus production costs? They wouldn't even break even, much less profit from it. But I'm not worried about them making money - I just don't care to hear anyone resing a song by an artist like Prince. Prince is a legend for a reason - he sang his shit, not a bunch of re-hashers.

Who is cashing in??--all of them. Cassie said some awesome things about Prince's deep cuts and not just playing his biggest hits. She also seems a bit bitter about people exploiting his most famous hits for self-gain and ignoring his deep cuts. I literally said an "audible Amen" after she said that...LOL. However, it seems like they could have dug a bit deeper with this songs they choose. Most of them were the bigger hits..

Thanks for sharing! Some of the covers are actually pretty good.Cassie's is definitely my favorite.

I really like their version of Starfish and Coffee and I think the ending was a nice touch.I also like that Elisa put a bit of Anna Stesia in towards the end.Overall,I think the album was well done and I appreciate them sharing it with us.
