Never misses an opportunity to compliment herself...LOL. SOrry most people would want to hear about P playing bass in MJ's face...But that being, I am tired of that story and for not telling it, I guess I am grateful.

well i guess what we can conclude is that it was all in good humour since MJ went backstage
after the show and hung out with prince, however short or long, but long enough for prince to
introduce him to shelby. so there's that.

other stories used to make it sound like MJ was upset that prince was playing bass in his face
agressively lol well, he probably did, but this story makes it clear there was no hard feelings
and they talked after.

anyway, do we know what show this was? i'd like to listen to the show and see if i can find the
part where prince plays the bass 'agressively' lol

Thanks, Flyonthewall. Good find. I would never have imagined that scenario happened. Nice to know there was a respect or some kind of friendship between Prince & MJ.

I bet there was a quiet respect between them.

Sounds like a sort of sibling rivalry... lol Always loved the "bass in my face" story. biggrin

Oh Jeeez the interviewer ruined it. I wanted to know, did they look at each other? did they interact? Did Prince just stand on the side and walk away??? She changed the subject at the best part! lol

It's very refreshing to hear a different perspective of this. I get so sick of hearing Will.I.Am's tired bass story perpetuating that Prince vs. MJ rivalry bs.
