I wonder if that scrappiness faded or changed a bit after the parents' divorce ?? Other accounts of P are that of a more introverted and even 'shy' person at times. This complicated man, obviously, was first a complicated kid. I imagine his height (coupled with his erratic home life) forced him to prove himself in numerous ways to other kids in the neighborhood.

Sometimes boys get into a lot of trouble or get into fights, it seems to me that prince was just like any other boy.

Duh. I was asking about other stories about Prince and how they relate to this "normal" side of Prince. Its normal for boys to want to prove themselves especially in poor neighborhoods.

Many of you guys are too young.

.

My kids are in their mid 30's... back in the day when two boys with a disagreement would just wrestle it out, the teacher or parent would pull them apart, send them to opposite sides of the room, and then the next day the kids were were Friends again (they got it out of their system).

.

These days two boys wrestling would be a big to-do, detention, investigation... on and on. Kids are no different today.... society has changed. So if P got into a few scuffles... so what, every other boy did also. LOL. (Now girls on the other hand..... nobody is meaner than a teenage girl.) IMHO

.

Don't make to much of this to evaluate personality.

Rude, a bit.. and I apologize for the "duh", .but i was offended by your statement yesterday (when I questioned how much Cat could know about events that probably post-dated her involvement) that implied that I am a fan who thinks I know a dead man I never met better than his associates. I listened to her interview today, and her statements and opinions about more recent history mostly sounded like rumor and bitter assumptions.

So, let's just call it even.
