It strikes me as odd that she would put Prince on an announcement of an event about pancreatic cancer.

I know she speaks her mind, and I am glad that she is doing so. But even she admits that there are things she doesn't know...All of sudden, she has some inside scoop that P died of Pancreatic cancer and so just happens to find a way to perform for some Pancreatic cancer charity within the last couple days since she posted her rant against Tyka's cryptic B.S.??? I think these kind of threads should stop anyways. We can't say if it was a suicide, we can't say if he had cancer, we can't say if he had AIDS, we only can assume. That doesn't take us anywhere and to be honest, some fans are still not fully over the fact that he's gone (SOME NEVER WILL I GUESS) and this kind of threads won't help with the healing process.

I know some might say: "Well, they could stay away from the thread." Yeah, they could, but some people get triggert by the title if it's as obvious as this one.

We should all wait until we get answers, I am sure that we won't get them all anyway.

Anyway, regardless of how it looks, she knew it would cause speculation, so it strikes me as something quite deliberate. The most logical conclusion to me is that he did, indeed, donate to this cause.

A purple ribbon is the symbol for pancreatic cancer. (Like pink for breast cancer and red for AIDS.) It is as simple and as complicated as that.

I think she actually tweeted that "the person putting it together, chose Prince's music for the event". I think she is saying that she had nothing to do with that decision.
