Regardless of a WILL or not or orders anything can be contested. The Late singer Michael Hutchence at the time of his death had 30M stored and orders of what was to go where, the money was sucked up by family fights and contestments over what his "wishes" were. I said this long before that PRINCE did not care about a will and here she lays out why, for me I just felt he did not give a crap about what happened, give it away was his motto. His music and deals all still existed and were signed off on, things got chaotic when someone thought they could make new deals on top of the deals he made in 2013. And also as I said PRINCE knew he was dying and anybody whether they like Prince or not or even followed him can look at photos from 2010-2013,14 and then see him in 2016 and see the change, gaunt, unhealthy, and it had nothing to do with his FRO or big clothes, and yes I get he was getting older, but there is a difference in getting older and being unhealthy and no one wanted to hear this but he was sick and it was more than "pain" and addiction, he was taking that stuff for other reasons too i feel. Considering one is prescribed for cancer patients don't rule that out either.

I do not think he cared about the money and that is reason he gave a lot of it away. He does not appeared to have had that much in the bank and we know he had given whole receipts from concerts away to charity.

He did go out of his way to set up an LLC, work with WB to get his masters back, and do a deal for streaming with Tidal and put in provisions for Paisley Park. None of these deals ended because he died despite efforts to try and end those deals.

As far as the Real Estate well you purchase it as an investment not to hold on to forever. His sibs will get money out of it so will or no will they will come out with money in the end.

I simply do not undersrtand why Tyka Nelson is going around saying that Prince knew he was dying, when he died of an accidental overdose of Fentanyl - can someone explain this to me?

Why can't she just be straight and actually say, my brother died of an accidental drug overdose because he was self-medicating because of this or that? If it was a serious illness then just say that.

So, unless she actually means, Prince was in a bad way three years ago, he was struggling to control his addiction, he was on a downward spiral, he knew that and it was only going to go one way, then again, please just say that.

Instead, to say all will be made clear in her forthcoming book, is, well, a bit shameful. I don't want to sound harsh, but to tease us with information when we know what killed Prince, seems strange to me.

Yeah, that

She did not say he did not die from overdose. She said she knew he was dying 3 years before and that she found out via an e-mail he sent her.

I think unless you have a hearing problem you heard exactly what she said. I now I think we may be dealing with people who are really hellbent on controling the narrative.

Plus PRINCE had no one directly linked to him, no wife no kids etc.. yes half brothers and his sister and tons of associated artists but lets be real, all those contacts he had, can you imagine the scandals and the mudslinging there would be if he left millions to 3rd eye girl and didnt leave money to Shelia but then left more to Manuela than Mayte or left money to Tommy Barbarella but not Morris Day, or gave it all to Andre Cymone. I mean can we let this WILL thing go.

Agreed. He didn't have to decide how much to whom. The law would take care of it. I think it was the best decision in these circumstances.

And if he had a kid somewhere that he didn't know of, again the law would prevail. I'm sure he knew all of this.

Agreed, the law will take care of things and right now Comerica seems to be doing a good job with getting things resolved and doing it at a resonable rate. There is no family fighting and tying things up in court because Comerica has say on transactions up to 2 million so things are getting done.

A trust would have elimated any fighting and contesting. And considering how what happened with his father's estate is often referenced, it seems rather implausible that he just never even considered any alternatives, especially if he somehow knew he was dying years before it happened. That just seems oddly out of character for someone that was such a control freak as Prince was known to be.

I knew from the start that I loved you with all my heart.

But he pretty much said where the music was going, TIDAL has it, and WB also, the masters are his as far as we know, he had everything important to him taken care of, the other stuff friends and family that was not how he was, I am sure he could care less on that stuff. As for the Vault I just have an odd feeling that there is a decision on how that comes out or if comes out at all ever.

She said that Prince knew he was dying, okay if that was the case but Prince died of an accidental overdose of illegally bought opioids, that’s what killed him. If she explained why he was taking the medication then that would be helpful, but she is being purposefully cryptic and ambiguous. That’s okay if you want this to remain private, but not so much if you suggest all will be revealed in the book you are bringing out.

That has crossed my mind also... I believe I read that he did have a will in place at one time...

And if he knew he was dying or if he wanted to go, how can anyone be sure the overdose was accidental? It is not blasphemy to say that. It could be the truth.

Ray Charles had a trust and his children are trying to use copyright laws to overstep the Trust.

I also think his illness may have acelerated on him unexpectanly or maybe he was not taking it as seriously as he should have. Remember Sheila said he did not like to talk about death because he thought if you speak it it will happen. He may have been trying to keep positive instead of dealing with estate matters after all according to his ex-wives he did have wills when he was married to them so it was not a foreign concept to him.

Thank you. I have been saying this for a year and a half. He made provisions with contracts which do not expire because one party dies. Both contracts are still in place as of today. Also he said on the view that someone was going to be out the Vault music it just would not be him.

The estate can make a lot of money off of that music so I have no doubt it will be coming out and I am sure anything he did not want us to hear was erased.

No it's not blasphemy to say but it doesn't actually seem to be the truth either because his death was not ruled a suicide. The reasons being are he was hurriedly dressed with his clothes on backwards and he'd made his way to the elevator where he was found. If it were intentional, he could and most likely would have left his clothes off, stayed in bed and just let it happen.

Maybe he just wanted to work and handle his business and let the chips fall were they may. He almost died a week earlier and he was by himself on purpose. He was a wealthy man who could have gone anywhere in this world to rehab or a hospital. Yet he choose to be alone.

Which makes the whole dying alone on a motherfucking elevator floor extremely suspect to me. I see that you've come to your conclusions and that's good, I'm happy for you but I have not and will not until either things start making sense or I get too pissed to care any more but either way, I really don't need your theories on my every comment. Thanks.

I dont believe in suicide in his case. It doesnt suit his personality and his beliefs. I only believe he felt someway his health wasnt that good and he believed his mission was accomplished. And he would keep working on new music until that day arrived. And deep inside maybe he didnt believe he could really die (like most people who only seek help after there is no other way). When he finally realized that, it was too late.

2 key ingredients to this were....

and I paraphrase

oh he is just in Spain, he'll be back.

if his "spirit" were to show up in my room i would tell it to go away.

my thoughts...

if he is in spain then the spirit of him that appears would be an imposter....

just a thought,

I watched the show and Tyka seemed very down to earth, sweet and easy to talk to. Although would'nt it have been better if she had been the main guest for the whole show? She was only on for about 8 minutes, she could have revealed so much more.

Speaking of the book. This is just a thing I was thinking about. Let's say Prince was sick, like really sick with a terminal illness. Let's just say that was the case. And let's say Tyka knew it. She states in the Interview that she knew it.

And I know some say, she didn't get more specific because she probably won't tell what Prince was sick with. Okay, but here is my question. If she won't say what it was and if she plans to never do so, why is she saying: "The answers will be in my book."

If she writing it in the book, and makes it public, why won't she tell it in an interview? What stops her from saying it now? If she plans to write it in the book anyways?

Now you could say: "Well, she might be just stating that he was sick with something, but not what it was"

Yeah, but the question still would be the same, 'cause she never planned to say what it was to begin with, the question still would be: "What stops her from doing it in an Interview." Because one way or the other, we'll know it, right? Am I right?

No one can twist your words when you write a book and suspect we will also get to read about their upbringing with everything tying up at end with what was really going on with his health. She said he left her with a task to have music education at Paisley maybe proceeds from the book could help fund it until the probate is included or she discuss this task in more detail. I suspect Prince provide some detail plan and it would be nice to see all of his notes for PP and tasks.

She said, Oh my god, that's an evidence, right? Holy shit, things can be so simple, right? And she can't be a liar, she's his fullblood sister. Oh and while we're on the subject, (SHE SAID), you know, there's this rapper, Lil Peep, he died of an OD yesterday and you know, his manager said something, the same thing Tyka said, well very similar at least: "I've been waiting for that call for a year now."

He was waiting, just like Tyka. And Lil Peep wasn't terminal ill eek he was abusing pain meds, and Xanax. His pills contained Fentanyl too.

But Tyka also said Prince gave her task to do. He left instructions for people and Paisley Park. He called many people he had not spoken to in years and made amends. Tidal is saying he gave someone POA to sign docs for him.

These are the actions of someone who is planning to die or know they will be dying. Not someone planning to accidentaly O.D.

Cards and advertising were already made up at the Atlanta show for the next show in St. Louis.

As for Mayte she was very slow to correct the media in America when they were making Prince out to be a child molestor and only piped up because she was getting racked over the coals in Britian.

I read it many times on the org that his own fans called him a child molestor, I've never read it in the news or saw it. And it's the fact that she corrected the media, that is what matters! Have seen this one Interview where she constantly repeats that nothing wrong was going on?? No, I bet not and if you did, you try to find just another reason to turn it around and make her look bad.

As for Tyka, SHE SAID THESE THINGS. I don't believe her just because she said he did those things. Nope, that's not enough for me to believe her. She could've said it in that BBC1 Interview, because she was filmed and I think it was live 2, so why not saying it there if you plan to say it anyway? If Mayte did a thing like that you'd tear her apart for fishing people to buy her book. But it's Tyka, his fullblood sister, so she's allowed to fish people to buy a book.
