Wendy Going For Hip Replacement Surgery

Susannah posted a pic of Wendy on her Instagram earlier and said, "Wendy in hospital for hip replacement surgery this morning! Marking her thigh in pre-op...Just making sure in the right HIP!!!! Ahhh yes !! Proud of my girl".

She posted one pic since then. She just came out of surgery and is hungry.

Wow, had no idea she needed surgery. I hope her recovery goes well and she's up and about in no time at all.

That's sort of assuming that it's a performer related issue, though, isn't it? We know it's often just an age thing. Wendy certainly never did the splits, or did anything more than Lisa or Mark would have done on stage.

I do have to admit, it was shocking to hear about Wendy needing the surgery. Knowing how spunky she is, I've no doubt her recovery will be swift.

It could have been an age thing with Prince as well or genetic. This whole he wore high heels and did too many splits was built up by the media. I always have wondered what a doctor would say about the cause for hip replacement.

Morris Day and Tom Joyner had hip replacement and they did not wear high heels or do the splits. I was thought that one-leg running man move and basketball playing might have something to do with it.

Maybe not just "wearing" heels, but more what he did while wearing heels. Jumping
Running perhaps some basketball too, in heels, no good for the joints and hips.
Low calcium in women can lead to osteoporosis(re Wendy) not sure how common low calcium is
In males and if that could be a
Culprit ( in P's case)
