I'm originally from Buffalo, but now living in Seattle. I remember seeing Sheila E open 4 Prince @ The Buffalo Memorial Auditorium in Dec of 1984!! That Show was AMAZING!!!! I remember @ the end of "The Glamorous Life", ALL the lights in The Aud went out, and She had a pair of sticks that lit up! And played THE MOST KICKASS SOLO!!!

cool

Off the top of my head, in no particular order and not everything:

When Doves Cry
Glam life
Get on the boat
17 days
Rasp beret
PR - partially, no lyrics
America
Love bizzare
Baile

Woogiebear, great to hear about the '84 show! I never got to see him - kills me. Sending buffalove😊

My Big Sis took Me Feb of '83 2 see the "Triple Threat Tour" (Prince/The Time/Vanity 6)! Prince was GREAT!! But The Time was on some other sh*t that nite!! They mopped the floor w/Prince N'Em THAT nite!! And the reason I got 2 see the Purple Rain Show was because My High School Classmate got gounded, and My Granny gave Me $$ 2 buy Her ticket!!! Oh yeah: Goin' 2 see The Revolution July 15th here in Seattle!!!

cool

Thanks for sharing. Did she perform any songs from her third self-titled album?
