But it was Mani who made the Charlie Sheen remark so she was def dealing with some bitterness. She's good now though, her fears for Prince have become reality, yes she was right to find another partner.

I think if Mani wrote a book, it would be an interesting read. I think we may see a side of Prince's life that is more human/personal than entertainer.

I understand Prince did not want his personal life being leaked. Unfortunately, those days are passed and things will be different.

Over time, more and more will be released from his friends, associates and lovers. Just my opinion and 2 cents.

I much prefer women that actually knew him writing a book or someone writing a book compiled of interviews with the women of his life then these horrid 'tribute" magazines that get all the names and dates wrong.

I doubt that Manuela will write a non-fiction book. If she is creative enough she may write a fictional book that hints at her take on the relationship just the same way that her ex's songs hinted at his take on his relationship with her.

God, just seeing his face again on pg 1 of this thread brings it back to what matters. Sometimes we get so lost in all the talk about him that we forget.

Yup, sometimes I think, taking the (very) long view that despite the fact that both ex-wives have professed deep love for Prince ,in their heart-of-hearts they now know they may have dodged a big purple bullet. They both have healthy children and while neither has the over-the-top lifestyle being with P may have afforded...they have more autonomy/dignity over decisions affecting their own lives, they are hopefully not subjected to the harsh, humiliating indignities of infidelity and they both got out alive. I say they should count their blessings. BTW...big thanks for the link.

Well the rumor is she ran around on him and she is the one that was being super greedy in that divorce file so she was trying to dodge a bullet and grab some cash at the same time.

I don't think they spoke since maybe 2006, 2007. I wonder if she looks back on all these lovely photos and thinks "how did things change so drastically???" I think it is sad that with the exception of maybe Sheila E., all the women in his life lost contact with him when their romantic relationship ended. Jln9f.png

Actually, Mani was very greedy in the divorce and she wanted a lot more than what Prince was offering, but they reached an agreement. He gave her a lot of money for her charities also. He was a very generous man.

She is such a tool...but I laughed when I heard jay z call out her creepy new husband for cheating on Halley berry, he said

"You almost went Eric Benet, Let the baddest girl in the world get away,” Jay raps on the new song from 4:44. β€œI don’t even know what else to say. Ni–a, never go Eric Benet!”

Looks like it's not just mani making a fool of her husband. Then again some people are just fools...

The case has not gone to trial and the music is still on Tidal despite the fact it was suppose to come six month ago. Remember how quickly "Deliverance" was pulled copyright infringement? Why is Prince's music still on Tidal if Tidal has no contract with Prince/NPG LLC. I think that sometimes people forget that Jay-Z does have actual attorneys handling the case and that Tidal is a subsidiary of a larger company Asperio. It is not Jay-Z deciding to sue the estate without the parent company involvement or actual legal advice.

I just wish Tidal wasn't involved with Prince's music. I don't think Prince was thinking clearly when he arranged this deal. Everything's a mess now, and there seems to be no end or resolution, as it stands now. I do not trust Jay Z, and I never will. A person's past behavior is a clear indication of their future behavior, and Jay Z did some shady things (streaming Prince's music when he was not authorized to do so). I do not think Jay Z ever really cared about Prince's music or his legacy. I know you support Tidal, but many of us don't. No disrespect to anyone here, it's just how I feel.

Yes, I agree P looks quite yummy during that time period, but when M2 is actually in a pic with him, not matter how pretty she is or how "happy" he looks or whatever the scenario...all I hear in my brain is "ill-gotten goods" and I quickly snap out of the "oh, he looks so cute here" haze, cuz I suddenly remember the cataclymic chain of events that brought them together...and how she was able to be opportunistic...

And I can't ever enjoy her in those pictures...although he's always gorgeous to me no matter what...

But everyone's tolerance level is different...

Me too, so can someone explain to me how this super smart guy, who had been around the block a few million times, and who bragged a lot about how 'no one can play me' got played so bad? Crazy-making grief aside, this was supposed to be a religious Prince...how could he so conveniently trash his wedding vows? It's not like anyone forced him to marry Mayte...I can't rationalize any of it my head...and that goes for M2 being 'religious' and in with the JW's AND all the JW's that watched it play out...didn't anyone have a functioning moral compass?

M2 "religious"?...Hmmmmmmm...

I'm not religious, but wasn't there a Biblical story about a wise king who was known far and wide to "love G*D", yet he allowed his nether regions to guide him to make decisions that had him so "inflamed with lust" for a woman he wasn't married to that he impregnated her then tried to cover that up by bringing her husband back from a war zone in the hopes that he would sleep with her and the baby could be attributed to him, then failing that orchestrated her husband's murder by sending that loyal soldier and faithful husband back out into the thick of battle?...

And in another Biblical story, wasn't there a conniving and manipulative consort of a king who tried to get a loyal and well respected servant of the king to "lie down with her", yet the loyal servant "ran away from her quickly, leaving his garments behind in her grasp"?...

And that was aaaaaaages ago...

I'm guessing things weren't much different in 20th century Chanhassan...

As for JWs "watching it play out", that would be supposition...unless someone can cite a source....

I also wonder if the JW's gave Prince a pass for his 'situational ethics' in hopes of inheriting BIG in his will. So, are they the big losers in the estate battle or did Prince take care of them big time before he passed? I'm not talking 200-300K, does anyone think he left them millions?
