With that in mind and in keeping with the holiday spirit I would like to beg a favor?

Can we get another sticky for John Blackwell, who is back in critical condition? It's kind of odd that the thread about his situation has been mostly ignored and is sinking to the bottom of the forum while people take sides in the stan wars.

We have multiple threads about the exes and their various projects while a man is literally hanging on by a thread. It would be great to see some $$ going in that direction but there are hardly any posts on that thread!

People went as far as predicting the couple would not be together for much longer and that has yet to happen.

As for who gets to do what, there is nothing that can be done to stop them. Sick people went as far as created a hate group and yet Mayte is now a bookseller author with her book. So, basically people can talk all they want, bring up all type of information to keep the negativity going, and yet ....the beat goes on for whomever wants to.

But the reality is that the hoopla around Prince's death is a treacherous place and fans should probably call out his associates if they are forgetting or seeming to forget where a lot of this all started and that a man died basically working himself to death. You spend so much time defending the Revolution and claiming they don't get enough credit. Why do you do it? Its no skin off your back if Lisa doesn't get credit for the opening of Raspberry Beret? You have a passionate interest as well. We can't read people's minds but maybe if associates are able to see how their behavior appears, they will either curve their behavior, justify their behavior, clarify their intentions and/or self-evaluate..THAT's not a bad thing.

Imagine if every single negative belief about his associates was true, that they are all exploiting him and were a bit happy about his passing because it cleared the way for their careers, wouldn't that be the saddest thing? It would kind of shake my faith in humanity because it would prove that Prince was probably the loneliness man who ever lived. If people are acting nuts and overreacting to the imagined slights by associates, then maybe the associates will read this stuff and put people's fears at bay (will clarify) and help them reattain their faith in artists like Prince and his associates.

I agree there. I really don't think there was any contact between the two of them. Not sure why they are doing all this Prince stuff now when they were quiet about him before that.

Right. Morningsong- all you have to do is Google it. Not fans saying what they THINK he felt about the pair- if he had them uninvited then, that's not exactly what you do with people you are on friendly terms with.
