what that Hollywood Affair? It was never released for a reason... and I doubt it had anything to do with Prince.

most likely,it was some generic producers. Her album features some terrible,run-of-the-mill New Jack Swing sounds.Prince clearly had nothing to do with that crappy album.

Whatever makes you think this hasn't been discussed ad nauseam in the past?

The Color of Sex??????!!!!!!! LOL. According 2 information on Youtube- Kim's album 'Hollywood Affair' was released in 1989 and all the songs were written and produced by Prince. U can clearly see Prince on the album cover. Why would he allow his image to be used if he did not have anything 2 do with the record?

Newsflash: That's a fake bootleg!!! The album was NEVER officially released. The bootleggers put Prince's photo on the cover to fool fans into thinking that he produced it.Looks like you fell into their trap, lol

Just to clear a few things up.....

1. The album was recorded for Giant Records in 1990 and 1991, after Prince and Kim broke up. It was produced and written by Robert Brookins, Gordon Jones and Timmy Gatling (who was part of Teddy Riley's crew and an original member of Guy, hence the New Jack Swing vibe).

2. It was never called "Hollywood Affair", bootleggers made up and slapped a picture of Prince and Kim on the cover cuz they figured they'd sell more if they implied Prince worked on it.

3. The songs are all registered at the Library of Congress and guess what! No Prince involvement.

Indeed.

Sources at Giant say they were “very impressed” with Basinger’s original material and her urban-contemporary singing style. As for her first album. Basinger is expected to enter the studio early in 1991. Don’t look for Prince to make a guest appearance on it. Sources say His Purpleness and Kim don’t speak anymore.
