Thanks for sharing Harts' story, Love. I had never heard of him. Prince was incredible. Lot's of people think P was only about helping beautiful young women, but stories like Harts' and MonoNeon's prove the lie of that notion.

I got into Harts because of Prince a couple of years back..have yet to see him live...but just love the fact that a few words from Prince can infuse some one with so much self belief....

Nice article. Thanks, LJ. I love that Prince told people that what they thought was deficient about themselves was actually an asset. That was their uniqueness. He was sharing his own experience as a young artist with them in his way, by encouraging. Always encouraging. And what we know is that unlike this young man said, Prince actually did benefit. Even more than they did. | |
