Thanks for sharing.

He’s also adamant about debunking reports about Prince’s character in lieu of his death.

“Most of us in the band don’t like the way he was portrayed in the media. The cause of death? The typical rock star death? None of that really clicks. He wasn’t an avid drug user,” says Crutchfield. “I’m making sure people know that wasn’t who he was, and that wasn’t his style.”

It seems like some former band mates want to protect Prince or at least the media portrayal. In a recent interview Shelby J. talked about how she always felt the need to protect Prince. Very interesting.

/-Maybe they are telling the truth as they see it or as it was without discussing his health issues. Even Wendy said it is not fair for him to be smeared by the media as a drug addict because that is not the way he lived his life. I am glad they sticking up for him.

Me too. And especially someone like Adrian who dealt with drug abuse issues within his own family life and was someone who worked with Prince most recently.

The Associates are doing really well. I am glad that P inspired Adrian Crutchfield to release his own album. Adrian and the other associates have really stood up for P. They were working on with him on a new album when he passed -- Adrian, MonoNeon (Dywane Thomas, Jr.), Trombone Shorty, Joshua Welton and the Third Eye Girl band members.
