I know this is just a rehearsal, but man those horns were sloppy..
No way Prince would have tolerated that.. Hard to believe I've been on the org for over 25 years now! | |

this sounds great... but... im confused... i would have thought the NPG would be playing songs from D&P onward?
not weird that they are playing Purple Rain stuff?
Dont get me wrong.. i love the way it sounds.. but I guess I was expecting to celebrate the 80s with the Revolution and then the 90s with the NPG....

At the Official Prince Tribute held in October, that this rehearsal was for, the New Power Generation performed a broad range of Prince eras spanning his career which is quite ideal for a homage dedicated to the life and legacy of our beloved Prince. | |

Because, as members of Prince's backing band for many, many years, the NPG played Prince's entire catalogue. | |
