Will Motown re-issue Vanity? Do any orgers think that Motown will release Wild Animal & Skin on skin on CD? I wish they would as a tribute to her. | |

It would be nice! The cassette and Vinyls can still be bought on Ebay, but I sure would LOVE Skin on Skin on CD! Can we petition Motown? | |

a better idea would be to contact Big Break Records or the FunkytownGrooves label.These are reissue labels that mostly focus on rare,forgotten albums that the major labels haven't reissued. | |

This probably the case and while I don't agree with it, I understand it and respect it. Bummer..
I suppose I have to find a different way. Maybe buy cassette player... Do they even sell those anymore?
Is her rendition of "Nature Boy" (from Friday the 13th episode) anywhere on cassette? [Edited 12/30/16 17:59pm] | |

and its probably your best bet at the moment, because I learnt that they are no longer available.....out of print

crazy that she would have them blocked, I thought she didn't care about royalties or anything like that?
i would still like to have a remastered copy of both albums. I still listen to them like they were released recently.
however you can get a remastered version of 7th Heaven on the remastered Last Dragon soundtrack. It's on iTunes and Spotify etc etc. u got me under the influence. | |

Motown could put out a Vanity best of collection including songs from Wild Animal, Skin on Skin & The Last Dragon. Track list;

I didn't know that either, the way I heard it, she didn't want to receive royalties or anything from her work as Vanity, but then I heard that interview where she was like she never stated that. u got me under the influence. | |
