she said it struck a chord with her for 2 reasons.

1) when prince and twin got engaged, she became the hidden girlfriend even though she had been there first. 2) it triggered her issues with being an illegitimate child. she felt like they were telling her she was an outcast.

The trip is that the twin and everyone else had to have known Prince was always on that creep mode but was okay with it as long as it kept them in dutch. Ive read time and time again of how Prince 'dogged' the twin but the twin hd no problems with her steppin up and in when Prince had other relationships?

Back in the early 1980s, Nicks and Prince were friends and musical collaborators. One day when she was driving in Los Angeles, she started humming along to his "Little Red Corvette" on the radio and pulled over to write down words she was composing. When she went to record the song a few hours later, she called Prince.

"Don't even ask me how I found his number but I did. I told him: 'I'm recording this song and I wrote it to "Little Red Corvette" and I'm giving you 50 percent of it and I want to know if you'd like to come play on it on one of the next three nights.' He was there in an hour, and he was there for about an hour and a half. And we became friends."

That song, "Stand Back," became a big hit in 1983. She asked Prince if they could someday write a song together. So he sent her a cassette of a long instrumental track and invited her to pen lyrics.

Fleetwood Mac star Stevie Nicks refused to embark on a romance with Prince - because she feared they would never speak again if they broke up.

The singer collaborated with the Purple Rain hitmaker on her track Stand Back and admits Prince wanted their friendship to turn into something more serious.

But Nicks decided to keep their relationship platonic to ensure they would always be able to work together on more music.

She tells Harper's Bazaar magazine, "Prince and I were just friends. I think he would have been happy to have had a relationship. But I really wanted a musical relationship, and I had smartened up, even then. You'll break up and never speak again. But he wasn't interested in just that."

Being married doesn't mean anything this is rock and roll, i will listen/believe jill jones than a hollywood gloss over stories figure like stevie nicks, this isn't the first time jill insinuated about stevie. It doesn't really i thought it was interesting tibit.

it means something to some people. I think Prince would not have crossed that line as far as a married woman goes.
