Why all of the negative stuff about the family has come from the Tabloids? No one who has had a encounter with family members has had anything bad to say. Like I said if he hated his family he would have written a will and they would be getting nothing. He took care of them and you don't spend money on people you don't care about.

This is all tabloid bs.

But Sheila is the only one who really has an informed opinion about what to do.

His family members are not musicians and not of her caliber.

She is the only one that had 1) that type of close relatinship with him AND 2) was sa musician at his level.

So her input is critical.

Stop bashing her.

She is? Out of all the people who are at this particular table, she's the ONLY one?

I don't think so. Love her though, doing her thing.

Let's face it, her input doesn't mean crap, nor do I think the family needs her input. It's none of Sheilas business. And seriously, if she was so damn close to him, then maybe she should've stepped in to help him.

You can't help someone if you don't know what is going on and she is close to his family. She just did a charity event with the family in Oct in Minneapolis.

Yes, but if he took those pills not knowing what they were, then it was just a tragic accident and there is no one who would have been able to help him at the point.

I'm inclined to agree besides, she acts as though she's hurting more than anyone else. Furthermore, wasn't she fired by Prince within the past 6 years?

She's not acting as if she is hurting more than anyone else. She is just hurting.

Fired from what? She was shortchanged twice during Prince's Welcome 2 tours, they made things right since then

How was she shortchanged? I think Prince had a great respect and love for Ms. E, however he hired at least 5 different drummers while she was not the most hard hitting drummer of his. I believe it would have been based on setlists, cities, venues, & whether it was a high energy crowd or a more jazzed out crowd that he would switch up drummers.

Also, don't get me wrong, I definitely admire & respect her contributions in Prince's stellar career, but was it a disadvantage of sorts to have become romantically involved? Then again I say, who wouldn't have? She did acquire wealth because of him, but I cannot imagine Prince wanting a love interest on the road with him all the time. This is like giving up your freedom on the road. But it seems like she feels entitled to guide his estate because she'd been there for so long, but they all must accept that his family has sole ownership of his estate.

Does "leaving" include giving back the copyright on the Prince Symbol at the door ? The Symbol she used for her shirts and that she never had copyrights for in the first place? You know, the Symbol that Prince would never ever have allowed her to use for selling shirts was he still alive ?

Yea, I don't think she should be doing that. Did she get permission to use his symbol/trademark? confused
