One of those great mysteries. I personally think there wasn't much done between them, and that the opportunity was lost. It is sad because of the things that Prince could have done with him could have been incredible. I felt the same way about Prince working with Ray Charles. The work that Prince did on UH HUH show me that he could have made the most incredible Ray Charles project if he'd had the ability to focus on one project and allow that collaborator's voice to shine instead of making it a Prince protege project.

I would love to see Prince's collection of jazz music released. I'm not talking about Madhouse, but more about The Flesh which was much more jazz and I'd include any Miles tracks with that project, even if they weren't recorded for it.

The legacy of Prince is so deep and varied. It is what makes being a Prince fan so incredible, and incredibly frustrating at the same time! lol

The expanded version of my book PRINCE and The Purple Rain Era Studio Sessions 1983-1984 was released in November 2018. (www.amazon.com/gp/product/1538114623/ref=dbs_a_def_rwt_bibl_vppi_i0) or www.facebook.com/groups/1...104195943/

It makes me wonder if there are more tracks out there, or rather in there (the vault) that we don't know about.
