true, except P's behavior would be altered at least a little bit by constant pill usage. Outer circles may attribute weird behavior to typical Prince eccentricity. But I would assume that the inner circle would notice the shifts in his behavior.

I know, I've clocked all that, but I still think P had close peep who I know nothing of & I've no idea of how he procured the black market pain killers.

I have no idea how he procured the pills but a recent Wall Street journal might shed some light.. The article was about mom and pop counterfeit pill operations in the u.s. It described how easy it to get the presses, supplies, etc; set up a site to sell them on the dark web; accept Bitcoin for payment and then ship them
out by a legit delivery service like fed x or ups..it would be easy to set up an ups mail box, order the stuff and have it delivered. No one would ever know.

I'm still not sure that some didn't know. I have always thought that j.h. saying that if she hadn't seen his eyes fix, she would have thought he nodded off and that she knew there wasnt anything on the plane to give him..."nodded" usually has a certain meaning and to say that it was only because of the fixed eyes that she was concerned, implies that this has happened before and nothing bad happened ...plus to say that what he needed wasn't on the plane, implies that you know what is needed...

Kirk's rise through the ranks to become Prince's longest and most consistent friend/employee is not reason to suspect anything nefarious. From what I've read, Prince was close to KJ's entire family. Kirk was P's best man in his first wedding and his brother performed the ceremony. I think KJ's sister would sometimes cater events at Paisley Park. They were very close.

Was P close to KJ's family during filming of Purple Rain or after Kirky rose through the ranks?

I believe that I read KJ was a dancer in PR and he and P became friends after.

I got to speak to Kirk this weekend at Paisley and he said he met Prince in the bathroom at First Ave. Prince saw him and his boys dancing in the bathroom and then Prince gave him a bunch of songs to do routines to. Kirk said they practiced all night and Prince put them in the movie but Prince told him that they would only get a small part because he isnt making a break dance movie. He worked his way up from there. He is a good dude. Was a good friend to him.

I'm going to assume those people were drunk. I know I woulda had to be, to not notice that the house band had some major problems in the rhythm section throughout the show. It's like everybody waiting on Prince. I'm like 'Play the mfn song!' And even when they do it's... just weak. It was closer to a rehearsal than I imagined. If life were fair, everybody would have got a refund. Chaka sounded good, fresh out of rehab... but the damn drumming was a mess. I guess that's Fentanyl Baldhead's fault. He probably was little tight not knowing if the FEDS might scoop him up off the riser.

Was anyone else except me surprised to see Kirk doing part of the Paisley Park tour? Friday night he was the person talking to fans in the video edit room. When he introduced himself as "Kirk" I don't think many on the tour knew that this was the Kirk who was basically Prince's right hand man, and one of the people who supposedly found him the morning of his passing. I can't imagine how difficult this must be for Kirk and all the Paisley insiders. I hope that Kirk's involvement in the concert and PP tour means he is not under any suspicions for wrongdoing. He seems like a really good guy.

It seems fitting. After all, he probably knows Paisley Park (and knew Prince) better than almost anyone else alive.

Why does he get all the suspicion? I believe the last person to see Prince was his chef. Should we be suspicious of him too?

I read today that the chef's last conversation with Prince was that Monday. He left food for him the evening he died, but doesn't sound like he actually saw him.

Ok, my uncle is currently in a facility currently unable to eat or speak on his own due to his alcoholism and YES my grandmother enabled him because she was raised to always clean up her brothers messes. Wrong but true. Just because you are an enabler doesn't mean you don't love somebody. My grandmother is killing herself with worry right now, if that's not love idk what is.

I'm sorry for your grandma's situation. I'm sure most people here have had some experience with this kind of thing. I have. I think you can stay and fight with/ for the person to get healthy, walk away or enable. Stayingl takes an extreme amount of effort, patience and love.

I appreciate Kirky could be a hard working and trustworthy guy. Also, I'm not sure if any of us could have done any differently. If we know one thing the force was strong with Prince. I bet he could put people in pretzel before they knew it.

there isn't anybody who knows the truth about any of these people, and apparantly they didn't even know the truth about each other. it's a clustermess. also, I notice that all these tribute shows seem to be waiting for prince to appear, and since he's not there, it's kind of not happening anymore. sadly, so it's time to move on I think. also, who is jubilant judas?

Yes, Tony M told the same story many years ago .

I admire Kirk for keeping his composure and doing the Paisley Park tour after all that has happened and after all the accusations by some fans.

What is wrong with people today. So many here see Kirk as guilty until proven innocent. Some even admit they don't care if he's cleared, they'll still blame him.

He should have gone public with Prince's personal life? He should have called the cops on Prince? Really? Wow!

I hope none of you get called up for jury duty. No objectivity.
