That's a horrible picture of her. Trees growing outta her head and shit... lol

LMAO STOP! I said the same thing though! She does NOT and has NOT EVER looked good to me. Period. Out of all Prince's women she has always been the lesser attractive and she has aged big time! I mean seems like every since Prince left it's like she is sayin "Hey everybody remember me??? Look at me" GTFOH.........no disrespect but she need to have several seats...............

lol I actually think she looks better than she did back in the day. She's aged well, but that picture is NOT the move.

Couldn't perhaps the whole promo have been the work of a marketing agency for the venue and have nothing at all to personally do with Sheila? hmmm

And why the fuck are y'all so anti-Sheila all of a sudden? Have I missed something?

Good question. This shit started the same week that Prince passed. All of a sudden people were crawling out from under their rocks to throw shade at Sheila. Reporters were asking her questions and the org mob didn't like her answers so they have been dragging her ever since. You would think she had called a damn press conference or something the way people are whining about her.

I haven't seen a shred of evidence that Sheila made that statement and not the promoter. I'm with you, if people want to know what happened they should ask her.

Prince, in you I found a kindred spirit...Rest In Paradise.

There IS no First Lady of PP
And she should say so if misinformedly introduced as such.

I don't know what's she up to either. I used to like/respect her, but not so sure anymore. She put this on her f.b. page a couple weeks ago. I have no idea what it is tho.

That was just a response to Linda Perry

No disrespect to Sheila but she has definitely aged, she is not as attractive anymore, I am not saying she is ugly buuuuut just saying that out of all of the women Prince had, she was always the lesser attractive, I mean give me a break! If she is trying to make herself relevant? Forget it .....her career days are over and has been for quite some time again, all my opinion....

--- No disrespect but you just called her unattractive and she still tours so she is relevant to the people who pay money to see her.

I feel like she's trying to capitalize on her association with him..because truth be told..before he died. When's the last time you thought about her in any way? Right now I can't even deal with this.. just found out my friend died last night leaving behind a week old baby girl and a 6 year old son.. I feel like death is suffocating me... everywhere I turn there it is....

I am just seeing these posts (after BET Awards). I so AGREE! Since his death, all media has gravitated towards her. 1. She said in an article she was an "established" musician before she met P 2. Not until meeting P, did she have out any albums or songs and nothing since that I know of 3. Since his death, she started posting about a jazz cruise and was doing some kind of commercial for the Warriors 4. BET Awards and after midnight of those awards, after 30 years, she drops an album.

I believe she is capitalizing off him as well.

I as so sorry about your friend. Stay stong.

please check your timeline. sheila has made a living as a session and touring musician since she was 15-16 yo. beginning with her family and then the bay area greats(most notably Santana) and then the motown greats(Diana, Marvin, Lionel, some percussion on Off the Wall) and then Prince.

+++ sheila has been working on cruise ships for a few years now. not the most prestigious thing but still a gig.

+++ sheila released an at least 1 album around the time of her book.

+++ my point is that Sheila has always had a full schedulde of shows and recording, this is not a new thing. i would not be surprised if she didn't reschedule some of her other work to organize this tribute.

+++ it is the revolution and susannah who appear to be "cashing in" on his death if only because they do not regularly work together and haven't in 30yrs. Sure they gather for charity stuff, but only W&L have continued to collaborate.

+++I'm not mad at ANY of them. It is their experience of life, love, loss, and grief for this man. sudden death is like suddenly losing cabin pressure in an airplane- you do what you need to to get thru it. I have no judgements to pass on any of them. no rocks to throw. i wish them peace of mind and heart.

+++ ex-wife #2 still puts my teeth on edge, tho. that thing with the house and her new husband singing her dead husband's songs..... beyond tacky. mad

*off to collect rocks*

for the First Lady of Paisley Park eek

falloff lol But really, what if it's the radio DJ that's calling her the 1st lady of PP and not her calling herself that? Then the label is not her fault. Anyway, I'm starting to really wonder about Sheila E. I saw this photo of her and Prince on her FB page with Cat cropped out.

Calling Sheila the first lady of Paisley Park is just all kinds of wrong. Prince had no first lady of Paisley Park and out of respect I think she should shut that down from anyone even trying to say that much less put that in print for marketing.

It is reeks . . . it is disrespectful to the her friend who clearly she loved dearly Hopefully she will get it taken care of- it is just wrong.

Her being called the first lady of Paisley Park would be like calling Monica Lewinski the first lady of the Whitehouse during the Clinton era! (Not saying Sheila is/was a Monica) but I would think that title would go to one or both of Prince's ex wives!
