Tony M. Made Diamonds & Pearls A Hit

Y'all just can't comprehend how out -of-this-world great Tony Mosley was on the mic. Without his vital, irreducible controbutions to the D&P LP that album wouldn't have sold 50 copies. Tony M. was the Mozart of rap. Y'all just can't hang. Had he went solo he would have murdered the likes of Nas, Tupac, Biggie, Rakim, Eminem, Rednan, Jay Z and Treach in any battle. Stop frontin'. Check urself B4 U QWreck Urself peeps.

Tony M.was allright! He did what he needed to do in Prince's crew--hit it and quit. I bet that he is greatful for those experiences, too. He never stepped on anybody's toes then either did he? And even if you never liked him, he was a bona fide part of the 80s Minneapolis scene that lots of people here are crazy about. So go ahead on Mr. Mosely--no hyperbole is needed for your sake. cool peace

As far as I know, the only thing he did Prince related in the 80s was dance in Purple Rain. He ruined D&P and prince. A good way to tell whether or not you truly believe what you're saying -- next time "Love 2 The 9s" comes on, roll down the windows in your car and blast it. If you can make it through the entire song (or ANY song he is on) without skipping once he starts spitting -- then you're in the minority that actually believes he was a good rapper.

Throw on 1999: The New Master and tell me that was anything but a trainwreck -- the lowest point of Prince's career -- when it should have been one of the highest.

Can't wait to find out if there are Tony M-less versions of D&P and prince in the vault(s).

Cut him some slack, he was always nice to the fans.

Can´t stand his contributions to the D&P live shows and the Act II tour but he was nothing but nice to fans during conventions and concerts, and I think he was pretty ok on 2Gether.

And what would the song Clockin Tha Jizz be without Tony saying :

"Mmmmmmmmmmhhhhhh.....clockin´ tha jizz....!"

-

lol

I still like that song.

" I´d rather be a stank ass hoe because I´m not stupid. Oh my goodness! I got more drugs! I´m always funny dude...I´m hilarious! Are we gonna smoke?"

Yeah, rap was not working for Prince, he always tried to keep relevant but rap never really fit with him, the Paisley Crew and all ...
