All I can think of is what someone already mentioned, Mayte tried to get in the way of his one and only real true love, Music. He was married to his music first and foremost...until the very end. Although I'm sure it's not really the end. He's still composing beautiful music in the afterlife.

I do know that he tried to make it easy for her and gave her as much attention as he could early in their relationship. I also know that Prince likes change. Mayte came around at the right time and became his muse. He always had a thing for dancers. Mayte's specialty was bellydancing which made her stand out from most.

As he evolved, his taste changed to women like Manuela. He saw her potential to rise up in the business world. She was already a well educated business woman. They shared the same passion for philanthropy. He gave her all the advice and tools (funds) needed to set her up in her career with charitable organizations. Not sure why they divorced.

Toward the end of his life he was close to Tamron Hall (spitting image of my aunt). Could have been wife #3.

i think it had something to do with jw and not believing in contracts etc i think the breaking point was the miscarriage they had already lost one child then to loose another it takes a toll i think the contract thing was a media coverup for the real reason

I agree. So many of the 'tribute' singers come across as just self-serving...not all of them, but many. I only want to hear Prince sing his songs.

its rude of u to judge why they did what they did have u gone threw? have u been threw something like that? when i lost my twin girls last year for the 1st month i refused to believed they were gone and acted like they were still here. u dont no what they went threw

Actually I have went through something far worse so I know their pain. Not judging her grief just wish she hadnt put it online.

As for Mayte, her auctioning off the hand written engagement notes really really bothered me, but grief and loss that is not properly dealt with can make anyone do things we might not understand. And now adding the grief of Prince's passing on top of that, it is clearly affecting her as shown in her video and I hope she gets the support she and her daughter need her to have.

i dont see how prince is to blame for him not having kids he doesnt carry them. a miscarriage is the womens bodys way of saying theres something wrong with the baby n wont carry it.
