There have been endless speculation as to whether Prince really was unhappy with The Black Album circulating as a bootleg in 1988, or whether he was kind of secretly happy to have created a hype. I was wondering if he ever addressed the topic with Cat at the time. Please understand that I'm not questioning the sincerity of Prince's cancellation of the Black Album: more asking if he ever expressed his feelings about it being out anyway.

I've always wondered why and how Prince realized the "Music is the key rap" in Cindy C/Positivity wasn't a Cat composition, reportedly leading to the rap being edited out of Positivity at the last minute. Did Cat tell him when she realized he believed it was hers, or what else happened? And how did he react? He was obviously very fond of it since he moved it from The Black Album to Lovesexy.

Hi Cat!

1. Any regrets about your own CD never officially being released - and do you have any plans to release new music yourself (even without backing by a record label)?

2. In my late teens I enjoyed your unique style of dancing and - fast forward - have seen quite a few female stars doing that "body quake" since you did it first. Were you the one that truly did it first, or did you see/learn it from someone else and then take it to a new level in the "Sign o' the Times' concert film and Lovesexy tour?

3. Are you and Sheila E. still friends? I would love to see/hear you two working together again.

4. I hope you don't mind personal questions, but I've always wondered if you married, had kids (or now even grandkids), and what you've done since those Lovesexy days. It makes me giggle to think that you might have been a soccer mom, shop at Kohl's, and use a crockpot like the rest of us... Then again, it is wonderful to know that you are humble, kind, and genuinely care to answer questions like these from fans.

Thank you - and I speak for many of us here on the Org who wish you well and continued happiness!

5. Besides experience and exposure, did you get anything else from your early appearance on "Star Search"? How did you meet your partner for that, and do you still keep in touch with him?

6. Many of the people from Prince's past are writing books about their experiences. Would you ever considering penning an autobiography - not just one about the Lovesexy days - but the true story of your life? (I ask because there are so many rumors and some books mention you - but it is not from your perspective.)

7. What music do you listen to these days? Do you follow your favorite artists?

8. Do you have any regrets, such as wishing you could compete on some of these reality TV shows that are so popular now, not pursuing a music contract beyond Warner Bros./Paisley Park, or turning down an opportunity that maybe or perhaps would have rocketed you to guaranteed stardom?

Cat, what would you say was your greatest inspiration?

.

If you could be doing one thing right now, related to your talents, what would you be doing?

.

And what do you consider to be the greatest moment in your life?

1. Why you so fine?

2. I have fell in love with your choreo since Sign O The TImes tour and I want to know, if Prince offered would you go back (He needs you girl....no shade)

3. Do you two really talk to each other still?

4. So far you have been the least dramatic out of the SOTT and Lovesexy era, how did you avoid all of the bullswanky and fu..... stuff around Prince's circle?

Is it true that u were offered a dancing job on David Bowie's Glass Spider tour in 1987 around the same time as the Sign O the Times tour, but u turned it down in favour of Prince? Do u wish u could have done both?

U released a single in 1988, was an album ever in the pipeline and do u wish u would have released one?

At their artistic zenith, David Bowie and Prince dominated their respective eras with a grandiose mystery and unpredictable obsession. Which is why Cat Glover found herself in an once-in-a-lifetime dilemma. A former band member and background dancer for Prince, the striking beauty found herself in a tug-of-war between the two superpowers. "It's a funny thing…Prince asked me to join his band on a Friday and David Bowie asked me [to join his tour] on a Saturday—the same weekend," Glover recounts in a 2013 interview with The Beautiful Nights Blog. "I said 'Oh my God, when it rains, it pours.'"

Glover made her choice and accepted Prince's invitation to go out on the road for the acclaimed "Sign 'o the Times" tour. A year later, a smitten Bowie was invited to Paisley Park for a party. When the two icons met, Prince gave a nod to Glover and said, "Yeah, that's my girl." Bowie's response? "No, that's my girl." Prince: "Well, I had her first." Bowie: "No, she was supposed to be with me first!" Recalls a still floored Glover: "That was the conversation…it was amazing."
