i think we have enough of these threads now. how about we wait until the album

drops before we go any further shitting on a man who until now only co-produced

one prince album, and an album that the majority of prince fans love at that.

"Only" ?! That's one album too many in my book and what makes you an statistics expert on what the "majority of prince fans love" ?? Like, did you conduct any kind of scientific survey on the subject ? If so, please do show us the numbers.

i don't need to show you anything, if you actually looked at the threads that

were made about the album where people commented on how much they

enjoyed it, instead of just mindlessly bashing it, you might have picked up a

thing or two.

anyway, there are already several threads about josh, about the new album

and about the interviews with both prince and josh about him producing the

new album.

i don't need to conduct a scientific survey on the subject to know that this

thread is disliked by more people than the aoa album is.

Right - in fact, he is worse than they were. At least those guys had substance and experience. I hoped Prince would have grown weary of hm by now.

What does liking them have to do with bashing Welton?

Tony M was actually a far more reasonable and understandable association. He did something Prince actually needed someone to do. Whether it was great or not is not the issue. Prince wanted another voice to do rap in his music at the time and Tony M provided that. Welton - by his own admission in the New York Post article - was getting coffee. He simply lucked up to be married to the white girl that won the drummer job because she is a pretty young white girl.

--- They could be the new Jam and Lewis or Wendy and Lisa or the new Andre Cymone or Dez Dickerson. I could name about 20 other song writers and producers but it would go over your head. Prince has had collaborators before and their is nothing wrong with trying to bring new people a long.

really though, the problem is Prince, who wants to work

with these people.

Prince is the person to blame even though Larry taking

advantage when P was down, sad after losing the baby,

maybe should take some blame.

Right...............at any rate, she looks like one - and that is what matters in today's culture.

And after listening to HitnRun, I realize it wouldn't be right because it would be unfair to Tony M.
