John Blackwell Joins Bootsy Collins' Band For Tour Funkateers, wanted to let u all know that "John Blackwell" formerly of Prince will be our new drummer starting Aug.1st. We had our 1st rehearsal today so it is Official, Family Approved, One Nation Under a Groove! Send him some love vibes right here, right Now! He's bangin' that Funk y'all. Bootsy baby!!!

Would be very cool if Blackwell's longterm connection with Prince could initiate some kind of Prince/ Bootsy collab, be it on stage or record. Man, imagine the funk those three could create if all on the same stage at the same time. | |
