I made up this topic before, but now I want an update: Is Shelby J still with Prince or

did she finally leave and go her separate way. As I said before the last time I saw her was

on the Arsenio Hall show last year when they performed Mutiny and no (to some of you) that was

not her on SNL back in November that was Liv Warfield. I've tried googling it, but I can't any concrete evidence on whether she quit or not.

I don't know if any of you orgers was listening to it, but I was listening to podcastjuice.net with Michael Dean and crew and

the discussion was about Prince producing and recording Judith Hill's CD in two weeks

and they bought up Shelby J and said they know she's gotta be pissed when she's been

with him all this time and he never produced or recorded a record for her. He also had

Liv's album out before too. I know Prince gave her alot of stage presence and to some of

you too much, but that still don't mean she still wasn't looking forward to him recording and

producing for her too. If any of you know something please let me know.

But you know what I really like about her. Not just her voice, but rather the fact that despite ALL the negativity and hate that's thrown her way, she remains positive as fuck, she doesn't give a shit if you like her or not, she always has a smile on her face and her head held high. And I say this as someone who's criticized her in the past as well, and as someone who didn't like her Prince produced song, nor her Black Gypsie band music. Her attitude and voice are top notch.

good question, not recently by back when she was performing regularly (maybe about 5 years ago) with him she had several people trolling her on FB, and she posted something about staying positive and not letting haters get to you. Im sure Prince tells all of them though not to read social media comments, but in reality i think that's extremely hard to do.

Talented and fun, but unnecessary at a Prince show.

The last time she did a gig with Prince was the July 4th, 2014 show in New Orleans. I'm pretty sure she wasn't fired. Like anyone in her position, she has to be disappointed that Prince didn't try to move her career like he has for Liv and Judith. She can sing, but all the yelling isn't necessary. Tony M did that shit too.

She does have her own band and was recording or is recording her album.
