Sheila E Has A New Place In NoHo

The E Spot, right above Vitello's Restaurant.

There's events happening tonight & tomorrow, I'll be at the early show at 5:30pm. Looking forward to it.

Verdine White sat in with her last night. It was a very good show with a sold-out audience of only 120. Sheila showed off her huge talent as well as her glowing personality. I particularly enjoyed it when Sheila's mother got on stage to dance with her. The version of "Belle of St. Mark" was nice to hear too. A few technical challenges (expected in a brand new venue) didn't take away from the fun. She played for about 145 minutes, with one brief break.

Wow you saw a longer show than I did. She was on for about 80 minutes, it was totally great. Amazing band including Kat Dyson & Lynn Mabry.
